About MAAC

Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics is the academic wing of Maya Entertainment Ltd (MEL) a premier 3D and Visual Effects house based in Mumbai now a business line of Aptech Ltd. India promoted by Internationally renowned producer-director, Mr. Ketan Mehta and acclaimed film actress Ms. Deepa Sahi. Established in 2001, today MAAC has its presence in mor than 80 centers across India. It has prepared thousands of students for careers in Animation, VFX, Filmmaking, Gaming, Web and Graphics Design. It has dedicated Research & Development team, industry professionals responsible for planning the detailed curriculum for each course. It offers Real-Life training environment to the students backed by an excellent faculty, Digital Lab, Chroma Shoot floors and the lates technical educational tools.

MAAC Guwahati (Chandmari) us the oldest centre of MAAC at North East zone. The branch was setup on 3rd January, 2010. It offers industry relevant Diploma courses on 3D Animation & Visual Effects. We prepare our students to make them ready for today's job market as well as for film and VFX industries. We also assure our placements ar 100% assistance and job guaranteed.

•  In 2014, Maacchandmari Guwahati has participated in VFX challenge.


•  In 2015, Maac chandmari guwahati has also participated in DFM-Digital film making “THE HUMAN RACE”and another Category i.e. UNIC 24FPS “EDUCATION-The Right of every child.


•  In 2016, our Students participated in alcheringa IIT guwahati and they got the 1st winner in the category “THE BIG PICTURE” and “CUSTOM BRUSH” competition,name of those Students-Divyachauhan,Hirokjyotichoudhury and Navajyotinath.


•  In 2016, SiddharthSinghahas got the zonal Grand finale winner on the category “MAAC GOT TALENT”


•  In 2016,maac chandmari Guwahati participated in 24fps “UNIC”category “THE BALOON STORY”


•  In 2017,Maac chandmariguwahati also the 1st winner up: EAST ZONE in the MAAC CREATIVE LEAGUE(Centre of excellence Award)


•  In 2017, GoutamBothakurhas got the 1st winner of EAST ZONAL in MAAC CREATIVE LEAGUE in the category Sketching.


•  In 2017, our Student participated in alcheringa IIT guwahati and they got the 1st winner in the category “CUSTOM BRUSH” and “DOODLE PAD” competition, nameof those Students-RupaBaruah and DivyaChauhan.
